Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive 2nd or 3rd-Year Apprentice to join our agile team. Duties Assist senior technicians with automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine work, brake services, and suspension repairs Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs according to schematics and technical manuals Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify issues accurately Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely and efficiently Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace Support in vehicle assembly, disassembly, and reassembly processes Contribute to routine dealership maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repair needs and timelines Experience Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanical knowledge is essential Familiarity with automotive repair processes, schematics, and assembly techniques is highly desirable Hands-on experience in maintenance and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous Experience working with heavy lifting equipment or performing vehicle diagnostics will be considered a plus Previous mechanic experience or training in automotive technology programs is beneficial Strong understanding of automotive systems combined with excellent customer service skills will support success in this role Pay: $17.20-$26.00 per hour Advantages: Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking RRSP match Store discount Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nmbbk
