Chiropodist (Full-Time or Part-Time) (Orangeville)

Chiropodist (Full-Time or Part-Time) (Orangeville)
Description
Orangeville Foot Clinic — Orangeville, Ontario Established 1985 · Modern equipment · Full schedule · Fair, transparent compensation · Real growth path We’re hiring a chiropodist who wants to do real clinical work in a clinic that already runs well. Whether you’re a new graduate looking for solid mentorship or an experienced clinician ready for a stable, well-resourced practice with room to grow, there’s a place for you here. About the clinic Orangeville Foot Clinic has served Dufferin County since 1985 and was taken over by current owner and chiropodist Ali Nasr-Esfahani in 2019. We share a medical building with other healthcare providers (pharmacy on site), and serve a steady, loyal patient base built over four decades. We’re also an active student clinical placement site; chiropody students have trained with us for the past two years. A learning culture is built into how this clinic operates. How we work together We grow as a team, not as a hierarchy. Clinicians, admin, and the students we host all learn from each other; when one of us improves, the whole clinic does. We’re proud of that culture and we hire to protect it. Scope of practice - the full breadth, not just nail care You’ll see a true mix of cases: - Routine and palliative foot care - Diabetic foot assessments, education, and risk stratification - Ingrown toenail management, conservative, non-surgical orthonyxia, and surgical (PNA / TNA) - Custom orthotics with digital scan, biomechanical assessment, and gait analysis - Wart treatment including microwave therapy - Fungal nail therapy including red light therapy - Wound care and ulcer management (with family physician communication) - Plantar fasciitis and other chronic pain conditions, radial shockwave therapy, padding, strapping, corticosteroid and local anesthetic injection - Morton’s neuroma, Achilles tendon care, pediatric foot conditions, ganglion cysts - Compression therapy and orthopaedic footwear dispensing No selective booking. Every clinician sees the full mix. We don’t reserve high-revenue cases for us and pass routine appointments to associates. Patient distribution is fair across the team; orthotics, surgical procedures, biomechanical work, complex care, and routine appointments are shared. You won’t end up doing only routine care here unless you specifically prefer it; and if that’s what you want, this isn’t the right fit. Foot care nurses already cover routine care; we hire chiropodists to do the full scope of chiropody. What we offer - Compensation: Annual base salary (full-time equivalent of $50–$55/hr), plus quarterly production bonus on revenue (services and retail). Total earnings scale with your patient mix and case complexity. Discussed openly at interview. - Proper employment status: Full ESA protections, EI eligibility, statutory holiday pay, employer CPP contributions, vacation pay; not a misclassified contractor arrangement. - Health benefits: Employer-funded Health Savings Account (HSA) at $100/month for staff over 21 hrs/week. - Continuing education: $1,000/year CE reimbursement to support your professional development. - Schedule: Monday to Friday. Flexible days and hours. No mandatory weekends. Want Saturday hours? Tell us; we’ll open the clinic and book patients for you. - Vacation: Paid vacation per Ontario ESA, with flexibility on timing. - EMR & admin support: Jane App workflow with a dedicated front desk, admin and back coordinator who prepares the rooms and tools for you. You focus on clinical care; no cleaning rooms after patient, no tool cleaning, not chart hunting, billing, or chasing forms. - Modern equipment: radial shockwave, SWIFT microwave wart therapy, red light fungal therapy, nail bracing, digital orthotic scanning, full surgical tools. - Dedicated rooms: Three clinical suites, including a dedicated surgery room and a dedicated sterilization room operated to IPAC and COCOO standards. Four treatment rooms available. - Mentorship for new grads: Direct mentorship from the clinic owner and associate chiropodist to support your transition from supervised to independent practice. - On-site parking, accessible location, medical building, pharmacy in the same building. Future opportunities for the right fit For the right long-term colleague, we’re open to building something bigger together — additional locations, expanded service lines, and shared ventures. Not a day-one promise; it’s a direction we’re genuinely interested in exploring once we’ve worked together and know we’re a strong fit. About you - Diploma of Chiropody (D.Ch.) or Advanced Chiropody Diploma; graduated, or graduating this year - Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO) - Standard CPR, Hepatitis B immunization, and professional liability insurance - Comfortable in a Jane App–based workflow (or willing to learn quickly) - Strong communication, integrity, and genuine interest in patient care About working in Orangeville Orangeville is a 60–75-minute drive from Toronto with significantly lower cost of living, good schools, and a genuinely friendly community.
