Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience and supporting the store’s merchandising and sales goals. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and advantages Engage in retail sales by actively upselling and cross-selling products Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility Provide excellent customer service through effective communication, phone etiquette, and attentive listening Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during shifts Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organization Support store cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive shopping environment Requirements Proven experience in retail sales, but we can always train. customer service, or related fields; experience in technology or product demos is a plus Solid communication skills, including the ability to speak multiple languages (bilingual or multilingual candidates preferred) Basic math skills for cash handling and POS operations Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently and effectively Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail sales techniques Familiarity with cashiering systems, POS technology, and basic retail operations Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in a quick-paced environment Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: $17.20-$19.15 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Benefits: Designated paid holidays On-site parking Store discount Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ojjqq
