Position Overview Part‑time Elementary French&English Teacher/Tutor at Oxford Learning Bolton. The role involves teaching up to three students simultaneously across kindergarten to Grade 8.

Responsibilities

Teach up to three students at a time at different levels.

Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.

Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.

Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications– Education

Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.

Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience considered.

Teaching certification is an asset.

Good knowledge of the current kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.

Qualifications– Experience

Some experience teaching/tutoring at a kindergarten to Grade 8 (or equivalent) level.

Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding.

Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

Schedule&Location

After‑school and evening hours Monday–Thursday (4:00 pm–8:00 pm).

Saturday mornings (9:30 am–12:30 pm).

In‑person; must be able to commute to Bolton, Ontario.

Commitment through the end of the term in June; continuing through summer preferred.

Compensation $18.00 per hour.
