Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator (Bolton)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operate clamp trucks and order pickers, to manage inventory and support warehouse distribution operations. This role requires attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting and order picking tasks. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse functions and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Duties - Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move, locate, stack, and stage products within the warehouse - Load and unload goods from trucks using appropriate forklift attachments - Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning - Assist with inventory management through accurate order picking and stock replenishment - Utilize software for tracking inventory movements and updating records - Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements - Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency - Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines Qualifications - Valid certification or license for forklift operation is required - Proven experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers - Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) - Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting - Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurements - Experience with order picking processes in a warehouse environment is preferred This position offers an opportunity to work in a agile warehouse environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are prioritized.
