We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Dispatcher to manage and coordinate a fleet of 25 trucks operating throughout Ontario. This role is critical to ensuring efficient routing, on-time deliveries, and full compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Dispatch and monitor 25 trucks operating across Ontario Plan routes and adjust schedules in real time to maximize efficiency Ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, customers, and internal teams Use company provided vehicle to conduct yard visits on an hourly basis Track loads, provide status updates, and resolve service issues promptly Maintain accurate dispatch records and reports using Microsoft Excel Support night operations and proactively address any operational challenges Prepare reports such as dwell time, safety reports, OTP reports, shift reports, etc Collect and index driver paperwork within the daily 24h window. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of city trucking dispatch experience (mandatory) Solid knowledge of Ontario trucking operations and industry practices Solid understanding of Hours of Service regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night shifts Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Valid G License Must have legal work status (Citizenship/PR/Or valid work permit for atleast 2 years) This is a quick-paced role ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented dispatcher who thrives in a night operations environment and understands the urgency and precision required in trucking logistics.
