Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist (Bolton)

About Us: We are a busy small animal veterinary clinic seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant to join our team full-time. We are looking for someone who enjoys both client interaction and hands-on animal care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well within a team. Responsibilities - Greeting clients and patients warmly and professionally. - Answering phones, booking appointments, and managing emails. - Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care and restraint. - Cleaning and maintaining exam rooms and hospital areas. - Processing payments and maintaining accurate records. - Assisting with treatments and patient care, as needed. - Providing excellent customer service and client communication. Requirements: Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience working in: - a veterinary clinic, - animal shelter, - kennel/daycare, - or another professional animal-care environment Must have: - Strong communication and organization skills. - comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced setting. - Team-orientated with a positive attitude. - Must be reliable and punctual. Availability Requirements: - Must be available to work alternating evening shifts ending at 6pm and 8pm. - Must be available to work 1-2 Saturdays/month.
