HIRING!!! Lawn Crew Team Members Looking for 2 or 3 local guys or girls with a strong work-ethic and good attitude to join our high-performance lawn crews! If you love working in the sun outdoors, riding machines, getting good exercise and enjoying a quick-paced work setting, this is the job for you. - This job is full-time Monday - Friday with a typical workday running from 6:30am - 4pm. Hours vary depending on weather and other factors. - Previous experience is an asset. Training is provided. - You will be operating zero turn lawn tractors (John Deere Z930m) weed trimmers and other tools to complete quality lawn cutting and maintenance. Other tasks include garden bed maintenance, tree removal, leaf cleanups etc. etc. - Our main yard is located in Palgrave, ON. We meet here and commute to the city with work trucks. If you are located in the GTA, we can arrange to meet you at one of our local yards in Mississauga. - We service commercial clients in the Mississauga/ Etobicoke area. Applicants must be good team players, proficient in communication and willing to work long hours if required. If you show exemplary leadership skills, and are proficient in the tasks at hand you will be given opportunities to grow in the company. ____________________________________________________________ Specific Responsibilities - Perform landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, pruning, brush removal, tree removal, debris cleanup etc. - Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edger's, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers - Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding - Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate - Assist Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available - Assist with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader - Performs other duties as required Job Requirements: - Drivers licence is an asset - One year experience in mowing or a related field is an asset - Must have transportation to and from the shop or meet locations - Must be able to lift up to at least 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits - Adaptable schedule Application question(s): - Do you have access to a reliable vehicle to commute to work? - What are your wage expectations? - Are you available full-time or part-time?
