Brewery Server (Caledon)

We’re looking for a Brewery Server to work in the beer garden and taproom for 1-2 shifts a weekend. The role is ideal for someone who is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable that can work well both independently and on a team. You will be the first point of contact for new and returning customers and will be responsible for upholding Sonnen Hill’s vision and values. During the summer months you will be working in the beer garden where we have monthly food vendors, workshops, and live music. On cooler days, customers cozy up with a board game, listen to vinyl, and watch sports on the projector. Responsibilities - Greet guests and provide exceptional service - Responsibly serve alcohol and snacks in the taproom and beer garden in accordance with service standards - Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the taproom, beer garden, and bottle shop - Operate the POS system, including retail and processing payments - Serve beer at off-site events as needed About You - Strong organizational and time management skills - Able to work both independently and collaboratively - Excellent communicator with exceptional customer service skills - Personable, friendly, and welcoming presence - Curious and excited to learn about beer, brewing, and our products - Comfortable working adaptable or extended hours Qualifications - SmartServe certification - Previous serving or brewery experience is an asset - Must be available for weekend shifts Details - Part-time - 8-16 hrs/week - $20 per hour + tips Pay: $20.00 per hour Application question(s) - Why do you want to work at Sonnen Hill? - What excites you about working as a server in the beer industry?
