Landscaper/labourer Cheltenham

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and assist with weekly lawn maintenance as well as a variety of occasional landscaping projects. This role involves hands-on work in maintaining residential and commercial properties, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a robust work ethic, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment essential for landscape maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine landscape upkeep such as mowing, trimming and weeding Operate machinery such as trimmers, lawn mowers (push and zero turn) and leaf blowers Assist with landscape installation, including planting, sod laying, and mulching Use hand tools and power tools for trimming, pruning, edging, and general landscape maintenance Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries in office Requirements Prior experience with qualified grass cutting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as lawn mowers and trimmers is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials or equipment as needed Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to yard required.
