Music Instructor at Caledon Centre, Bolton

Join the Town of Caledon as a part-time Music Instructor at the Caledon Centre for Recreation&Wellness. This role focuses on teaching piano and guitar lessons to diverse age groups, from preschool to seniors.

As a part of the Community Programs team, you will report directly to the Programmer and deliver engaging music programs tailored to participants' skill levels. Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and administrative tasks related to program management. Your passion for music and experience will help enhance the community's recreational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and implement program content for various age groups • Develop lesson plans and teaching materials for courses • Provide leadership and instruction tailored to skill levels • Manage attendance and prepare reports • Assist in program delivery ensuring quality engagement

Requirements:• Experience teaching piano and/or guitar preferred • Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification required • One year of experience in program facilitation • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work evenings and weekends
