Landscape Construction Labourer (Amaranth)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various outdoor construction projects, including landscape installation, hardscaping, and site preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in the construction and landscaping industry. Prior experience with construction tools and techniques is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Duties - Assist in the installation of landscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and planting beds - Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution - Prepare sites by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting forms for concrete work - Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks with precision - Assist with masonry, carpentry, and electrical tasks as needed for landscape projects - Support in plumbing, drainage installation, and restoration work related to landscaping projects - Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency - Follow safety protocols at all times during project execution Requirements - Prior experience or familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or construction estimating is a plus - Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete forms, masonry equipment, welding equipment, and heavy machinery is desirable - Knowledge of construction painting, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinet installation, caulking, or electrical experience is beneficial but not required - Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions - Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new construction techniques - Valid driver’s license preferred for site access and equipment operation support - Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and adhere to safety standards at all times Pay: $17.20-$32.00 per hour Benefits: - In office parking Work Location: On the road Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ptgoi
