Description
Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Coordinator to oversee and manage various aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess solid administrative, supervisory, and communication skills, with experience in office management, vendor relations, and team coordination. This role involves ensuring smooth project operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the construction team to meet project goals efficiently. Duties - Coordinate daily construction activities and communicate project updates to stakeholders - Supervise construction staff and subcontractors to ensure adherence to schedules and safety standards - Manage vendor relationships, including procurement of materials and services - Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and payroll processes related to construction projects - Maintain accurate records through bookkeeping, filing, and documentation management - Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting - Handle front desk responsibilities including multi-line phone systems, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments - Assist with human resources functions such as training & development, onboarding new team members, and maintaining personnel files - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies - Support administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing office supplies, and coordinating meetings Experience - Supervising experience in construction or related fields is highly preferred - Proven office experience with strong clerical and administrative skills - Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software for bookkeeping and payroll management - Experience with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems - Knowledge of human resources procedures including training & development and employee recordkeeping - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively - Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, team members, and clients - Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and oversee project budgets effectively - Prior experience in office management or administrative roles within a construction or industrial environment is advantageous Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $30.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Flexible schedule - Wellness program - Work from home Work Location: Remote Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ogja7
