Pharmacist (Northeast Calgary)

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, ensure the safe and effective use of medications, and provide professional guidance to patients on a wide range of health-related matters. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Conduct clinical services, including comprehensive medication reviews and development of care plans - Administer medications via injection in accordance with certification and best practices - Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions - Assess the suitability of drug therapies and monitor patient outcomes, including effectiveness, adverse effects, and potential interactions - Provide counseling to patients on prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and general health topics, including proper use, storage, indications, contraindications, and side effects Qualifications - Licensed and in valuable standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) - Valid injection certification - Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) required - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset Job Details - Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - Work Location: In-person Licensure/Certification Requirements - Active ACP practice permit with Additional Prescribing Authorization and injection certification Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okmg4
