Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure setting for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents in a timely manner. A strong background in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred. Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within assigned areas. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review. Enforce rules and regulations to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries. Requirements Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV is preferred. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications. Physical fitness is essential; candidates should be able to stand for long periods and conduct foot patrols.
