Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, the Project Administrator plays an essential role in supporting project execution. This is a Monday to Friday office-based position located in Calgary, AB. What Youll Do Here: - Processing of AP invoices including obtaining correct approvals and uploading to the system. - Ensure receiving is processed in a timely manner, confirming three-way match. - Deal with supplier demands via email or telephone. - Perform and maintain organized documentation and filing electronically. - Match packing slips received from the field with purchase orders issued and invoices received. - Responding to Project Staff regarding inquiries such as payment status, etc. - Assist with month-end journal entries, cost review, and reallocations. - Cross-training with other project accounting functions. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. - Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging. What You Bring to the Team: - Position will be working in a construction project office, previous experience in the construction industry required. - Must possess 2+ years of office related experience with knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable, document control, and payroll. - Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel. - Experience using SAP highly preferred. - Strong organization and time management skills. - Strong communication skills, ability to deal tactfully with vendors, employees, visitors and customers. - Must be a team player, be able to work independently and prioritize workload. - Must have strong work ethic. - Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines. - Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
