Warehouse Operations Supervisor (Calgary)

In this important position, you will be involved in effective operation of assigned shifts, warehouse activities including picking, shipping and receiving. Communicating and implementing change as directed Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies Providing leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior Proven ability to have discipline discussions and give honest feedback in a professional manner Establishing, maintaining and promoting high standards of customer service Liaising with drivers, customers and warehouse personnel Ensuring compliance with OHS procedures and practices Supervision of all staff under your direct or indirect control Administration duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achieved Ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently Driving and maintaining 5S principles within their work area and the building Continuously monitoring the performance and activities of the shift operations through the use of KPIs, with a primary focus on cost controls Experience Minimum 5 years industry related experience 2-3 years of which is in the Supervisory role MS Excel & systems knowledge proficiency in Microsoft Office required; SAP experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detailed oriented and strong analytical skills Cross-departmental experience with the ability to develop strong business relationships Union experience an asset Conflict Management skills are essential Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p0uoi
