Do you have hands‑on compensation experience supporting programs across North America? Are you an Excel expert who loves turning data into insight? We are hiring a Compensation Analyst at our Calgary corporate office to help shape the future of our Total Rewards programs. What You Will Be Doing - Maintain salary structures, pay grades and job classifications for exempt and non‑exempt roles in Canada and the US - Support the annual compensation cycle, including merit increases, market adjustments and incentive plan administration - Support compensation planning activities, including survey participation, data analysis, policy reviews, and program updates - Work directly with HR Business Partners to review and validate compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers - Assist in developing a company job architecture including job profiles, job families, and job descriptions to align with and support the talent management, performance management and succession planning programs - Ensure compliance with laws and regulations - Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on projects related to benefits, pension, system configuration, reporting improvements, process efficiencies, wellness and communication strategies focused on employee experience and education What We Would Like From You - 3–5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics or a related HR function - Experience supporting compensation programs in both Canada and the US - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with comfort using complex formulas, pivot tables and modeling - Strong understanding in all areas of compensation, including market pricing & benchmarking, salary structure development, and job architecture - Demonstrated success working effectively in a team‑based environment - Familiarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirements - CCP designation or other related certifications considered an asset - Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with robust attention to detail and the ability to translate technical compensation concepts into clear, actionable guidance for key partners - Experience with UKG (UltiPro / Kronos) considered an asset Location and Other Key Details - Full‑time permanent position based out of our Calgary Corporate Office with hybrid work flexibility for a blend of remote and in‑office collaboration - The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Why BURNCO? - Be part of a supportive, high‑performing team that values your growth and success - Enjoy competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and more - Experience our inclusive, collaborative, and safety‑focused culture - Take part in team events, professional development activities, and community initiatives Join us and be part of an organization that values safety above all.
