Our client is a highly respected, values‐driven construction organization with a strong track record delivering complex commercial, institutional, and mixed‐use projects across Western Canada. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre‐construction team and play a key role in securing and shaping future work.

As a Senior Estimator, you will lead detailed cost planning and tendering activities, working closely with pre‐construction, operations, and client stakeholders to develop competitive, accurate, and well‐considered project pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed estimates from conceptual through to final tender stage
• Develop budgets, cost plans, and cash flow projections for a wide range of building projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify risks, opportunities, and pricing strategies
• Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing, bid reviews, and scope alignment
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Collaborate closely with project teams, design consultants, and clients during pre‐construction
• Mentor and support intermediate and junior estimators
• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of estimating experience within commercial, institutional, or large‐scale construction
• Post‐secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Strong understanding of Canadian construction practices, contracts, and procurement methods
• Proven ability to lead complex estimates and manage multiple bids simultaneously
• Advanced proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Detail‐oriented with strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities
