As a Village Centre Lounge Attendant and Concierge Service, you are professional, you are connected, and you are empowered. In every moment and in every interaction. You come to us with a strong customer facing background within the hospitality/service industry and are available to work a flexible schedule (16-24 hours per week), primarily covering evening shifts (2:45 pm to 11:15pm) on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. A day in the life of a Village Centre Lounge Attendant and Concierge Service: - Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to Owners and Guests, in a personalized and refined manner - Assist our sales team in providing tours of our Amenity Centre - Operate our newly opened Terrace Bar by promptly serving a variety of beverages with enthusiasm and personable service - Assist in the opening & closing duties of the Terrace Bar & Amenity Centre including various clean-up duties as required - Set-up and assist with daily programs and events as scheduled - Assist the Operation Manager in duties associated with the smooth operation of the Village Centre as needed - Complete administrative duties as assigned - Review pass-on at every shift to ensure full understanding of requests and timelines - Our Centre opens at 6:30am and closes at 11:30pm so shift times can vary. - Wage is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. What you bring to the table: - ProServ Certification required for the role - A sensational customer service philosophy, with the desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity - 3 – 5 years of working experience at a significantly high Customer Service level, preferably in the hospitality industry - Ability to manage a flexible schedule which could include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays when required - Outgoing & kind personality - Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Ability to adjust to continually shifting priorities - Consistently neat, clean, and skilled appearance - Ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion when dealing with Owners, Guests, and Vendors - Strong computer skills including an expert working proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word As a world class resort-style community association, we are pleased to provide you with the following: - Hourly wage range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour - Opportunity for career advancement - Employee centric culture - Customized training programs - Staff events & activities throughout the year - On-site parking Do you see the magic?
