Solar Electrician (Calgary)

We are looking for an experienced Solar Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. As an Electrician, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality work, every time. You must have experience in some or all of the following: - Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning Solar, Lighting, intercom and other electrical systems - Install all electrical related to Air Conditioning Installations - Install home automation systems - Install solar panels - Install Electric car charging units - Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems - Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.) - Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components - Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them - Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. - Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units - Ensure jobs are properly staged; sign off on job quality checklist. Education, Experience, and Language: - You must hold your Electrician red seal certificate - Proven experience as an electrician minimum 4 years preferably in residential service - Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems is an asset - Thorough knowledge of the install and commissioning of solar systems - FSR-B or FSR-A is required - Clean driving record What You’ll Get - Competitive hourly rate: $40–$50 per hour - Bonuses & commissions for service calls and product sales - Company vehicle & gas card - Company-provided cell phone & uniform - Extended health and dental coverage - Paid vacation and personal time - Career advancement opportunities & ongoing training Milani Electric Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer!
