WSPu2019s RPM team is one of the most established and exciting teams in Canada. The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the worlds most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialize in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast to coast. The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilize the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively. WSP has a new opportunity for a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our Remediation Program Management team. This new opportunity will require you to manage risk and closure of contaminated sites. You will design and oversee field work related to monitoring, investigating, and remediating contaminated sites impacted by hydrocarbons (diesel, gasoline crude oil etc.) fertilizers and metals, as well as prepare technical reports. It is expected that you are self-motivated and will demonstrate strong time management and communication skills. **Your Impact** Be part of a Canadian-based firm, applying and expanding your client delivery, project delivery and financial acumen skills. Clearly identify and help the project team understand project schedule and objectives, monitoring project performance and health and assemble your team including technical experts to support client solutions. Be a mentor to new, talented and enthusiastic people to the environmental industry within WSP, sharing your project management experiences and knowledge, developing the next generation of consultants and their project monitoring and delivery skills. Guided by our Zero Harm policy and rigorous Health, Safety and Environment standards, with your knowledge and experience, reviewing and enhancing project health and safety plans. Participate and be a member of a 10-20 person client-specific delivery team, while at the same time leveraging the experience and expertise of the entire RPM group. Have a really complex technical issue? Engage with a Practice Area Network (PAN) who may have experienced the same issue in Australia, Malaysia, or even exotic locations like Saskatoon. Lead some of the most interesting and technically challenging environmental projects in Western and Northern Canada. **The Skills That Set You Apart** Stops and takes time out of your busy day to help coworkers, especially new team members, understand assignments and help mentor them in their career path. Are a master of spreadsheets, attention to detail and coordination, not yet having met a challenge that cannot be solved with a well designed spreadsheet. Following schedules are a must, and you take great pride in delivering on time. All deliverables that pass through your desk are the best quality you have produced, only surpassed in quality by your next deliverable. Have excellent communication skills and somehow find yourself the default person coordinating activities with your friends and family. Bacheloru2019s degree. Have a professional designation. 5 to 10 years experience in project management, environmental industry experience an asset.
