Alberta Ballet Lead Props Manager (Calgary)

In this full-time role, you will oversee the prop department's operations, reporting to the ATD Carps/Props/Flys. You will manage the creation of new props, ensure accurate expense tracking, and maintain the overall organization of the props inventory. Your leadership will shape the efficiency of both warehouse prep and touring logistics. Key Responsibilities: - Build and prepare recent and rental props efficiently - Manage expenses and department buying activities - Organize props department information digitally and physically - Maintain and track inventory in warehouse and venues - Collaborate with stage managers for prop availability Requirements: - 3+ years in prop building and fabrication - Leadership experience in a prop shop setting - Valid First Aid/CPR certification and WHMIS - Positive team building attitude and interpersonal skills - Must be a member of IATSE 212 or eligible Bring your prop management expertise to Alberta Ballet and contribute to our artistic vision.
