Senior Service Designer - Remote Role (Calgary)

Elevate data products as a Senior Service Designer for a public sector client with Handis Consulting. Focus on agile delivery, transformation, and innovation in a fully remote environment. This full-time, six-month contract position, with a potential for extension, seeks an experienced designer focused on data product delivery. You will collaborate with teams to analyze data user experiences, facilitate co-design workshops, and develop journey maps. Your critical role includes enhancing access to client data assets for effective policy analysis and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct requirements gathering and process mapping • Integrate human-centered design methods in services • Analyze data user experiences across various channels • Facilitate co-design workshops and document outcomes • Create service blueprints and journey maps for improvement Requirements: • 6 years of experience in service design with journey maps • 8 years with digital or data products; public sector experience • Proven ability to analyze research data and user needs • University degree or equivalent with relevant experience • Skilled certifications in IT or computer science preferred Drive innovation and successful data product delivery while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.
