Software Engineer II – React Front End We are looking for a React Front End Developer to design and implement complex front‑end solutions across our Upstream Planning portfolio. This role involves supporting technical decisions while ensuring adherence to best practices. The overall objective is to contribute to modern, scalable, and performant user interfaces that enhance deliverable quality and performance. Develop and maintain front‑end Upstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment. Support architectural standards, best practices, and reusable components across the application portfolio. Support technical decisions, work with coding standards, and ensure high‑quality deliverables. Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline the development process. Collaborate with stakeholders, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks. 5+ years of JavaScript development experience. 3+ years of hands‑on front‑end development with React 18+ or comparable framework(s). Expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+) including arrow functions, destructuring, spread operator, async/await, promises, and closures. Expertise using React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, useReducer, useMemo, useCallback) and advanced knowledge of state management. Robust understanding in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies. Strong understanding in designing solutions for high availability, scalability, and performance optimization. Familiarity using AI coding tools. Proficiency using TypeScript. Familiarity with React Query/TanStack Query. Proficiency with Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks. Knowledge of upstream oil and gas domain. Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.
