Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking a Labourer to support a short-term Facilities project in Taber, AB. This role will assist with a mechanical upgrade project at a seniors’ housing facility, including boiler and water heater replacements and associated system upgrades. This is a project-based role providing general site support to trades and helping ensure safe and efficient execution of work. The project will be from late June to end of August. Hourly rate: $22/hour Where We Work and Live: ATCO Frontec provides preventative and corrective maintenance services for our customers throughout Alberta. Our maintenance teams are mobile, and travel will be required in this position. Responsibilities: - Assist with site preparation and general cleanup (housekeeping) - Load, unload, and move materials, construction debris, piping, and equipment - Support tradespersons with project tasks (mechanical, electrical, carpentry, etc.) - Assist with installation-related work tied to boiler, water heater, and control system upgrades - Operate basic tools and light equipment - Complete general labour tasks such as painting, touch-ups, and incidental service work - Follow all safety procedures and site regulations - Assist with material transport and disposal, including possible driving to facilities - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Minimum of one year of experience in general trades; experience in electrical construction or maintenance would be considered a robust asset. - Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required - Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools - Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced project environment We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
