Curtain Installation ASSISTANT (Calgary)

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to join our installation team. In this role, you will support our installers by handling materials, assembling curtain rods/tracks, hanging curtains, and ensuring a flawless final presentation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering excellent results. This role may require occasional evening and weekend work. Since our business operates on a leads-based model, work hours can vary and are not guaranteed. Responsibilities: - Hang curtains neatly after rods are installed by the installer. - Steam curtains to ensure a polished, wrinkle-free appearance. - Load/unload curtains, hardware, and tools at job site. - Handle fabrics and materials with care to avoid damage. - Assist in assembling curtain tracks/rods on-site as per instructions. - Maintain organised inventory of supplies in the work vehicle. - Cleaning up after the installation has been completed includes cleaning the floor, packing up all garbage and installation material, as well as dusting the window sills. Requirements: - No prior experience required—training will be provided! - Ability to lift/move hardware and curtains (physical fitness required). - Keen attention to detail (e.g., aligning curtains evenly, spotting imperfections). - Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in clients’ homes. - Professional demeanour and robust work ethic.
