Description The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor(s) to teach Fall 2026 MGST 451 (Corporate Governance & Ethical Decision-Making). Classes in the Fall 2026 semester run from September 1 to December 4, 2026. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 8 to December 18, 2026, if applicable. MGST 451 (Corporate Governance and Ethical Decision-Making) LEC 01 Monday/Wednesday 9:30am - 10:45am LEC 04 Monday/Wednesday 2:00pm - 3:15pm LEC 06 Tuesday/Thursday 3:30pm - 4:45pm LEC 07 Tuesday/Thursday 5:00pm - 6:15pm The calendar description of the course: "Develop an increased awareness of the importance of corporate governance systems and strong financial decision-making systems in developing effective business enterprises. Specific emphasis on the resolution of agency problems, the role of the board of directors, compensation systems and financial modelling." Qualifications - MBA degree or equivalent and work experience in the field are desirable - Previous post-secondary teaching experience is a requirement - Preference will be given to applicants who have experience providing instruction face-to-face and online in a post-secondary setting - Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset To apply, please submit your application online via the 'Apply Now' link and address your cover letter to the attention of KJ Choi, Area Chair, Finance.
