Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator & Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as mini excavators and skid steer. Mechanical knowledge and experience in tasks like digging and loading are essential for this role. Especially in tight areas. Responsibilities: - Operate, Tow and maintain various types of heavy equipment efficiently and safely. - Perform tasks including digging, grading and loading - Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times - Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project completion Qualifications: - Proven experience in operating heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, Caterpillar machinery, etc. - Proficiency in tasks related to building, digging, grading and loading - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment - Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining a focus on safety - Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team Must be OK with physical labor as this is not solely an equipment operator position. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean abstract. Must have experience and confidence to drive company truck, tow trailers and equipment.
