Bartender/Servers (Calgary)

Cheers Calgary is hiring 1—2 experienced bartenders/servers (the position requires bartending, and at times service and bussing) for private functions such as weddings, corporate events, and birthday parties. HOURLY + GRATUITY This is a casual position. Preference will be given to candidates who are available to work Saturday June 6, and are comfortable beginning onsite training. Do you own a vehicle? - Cheers advertises . There is little or no on-the-job training, and is suited to those who are very comfortable bartending as well as serving and bussing. Do you have at least 2 years of bartending AND serving experience? - Cheers events are scheduled a few days to up to 2 months in advance. Reliability is essential. Do you have a predictable schedule? - How far in advance can you predict your schedule? One week? Two weeks? Three months? - What is your general availability? Evenings? Weekends? Days? Does it fluctuate? - Cheers only hires and keeps on individuals who are reliable, are always on time, and can maintain orderliness and organization while they work. Are you reliable, punctual, and organized? - Cheers bartenders are pros. They look and act like it while at work (while being themselves and having fun!). Are you professional in demeanour (attire, attitude)? - Can you provide one skilled reference? - Cheers bartenders work from zero hours in a week to more than 20 hours depending on the time of year and their personal availability. There are no guaranteed hours. *This position is not full time.
