Description
Payroll & Benefits Administrator We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support payroll processing, benefits administration, and onboarding across a growing hospitality portfolio. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate payroll, seamless employee onboarding, and effective benefits administration in a fast-paced, multi-property environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage the full-cycle onboarding process for all new hires, including employment documentation, system setup, payroll entry, and benefits enrollment - Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, bonuses, and leaves of absence - Administer all group benefits programs, including enrollments, terminations, changes, and leave-related updates - Ensure accurate processing of benefit deductions and maintain records within ADP and carrier portals - Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs) and support payroll compliance requirements - Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and onboarding - Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance - Generate payroll and perks reports and assist with year-end and reporting processes - Partner closely with People & Culture, Finance, and operational leaders to support employee lifecycle administration Qualifications - 2–4 years of payroll, benefits, or HR administration experience - PCP, benefits or HR designation, asset - Experience with ADP Workforce Now required - Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills - Knowledge of Alberta and BC payroll legislation - Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality - Hospitality or multi-location experience considered an asset If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy working with both payroll and people operations, we’d love to hear from you.
