Join Basecamp Property Management as a Property Accountant, based in Calgary or Canmore, Alberta. This role focuses on full cycle accounting in a quick-growing hospitality setting. This fixed term contract position will see you responsible for the accounting activities of our 31-unit hotel and 77-unit long-term accommodation in Revelstoke, BC. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, you will ensure timely monthly financials, maintain the general ledger, and provide excellent service to vacation rental owners. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and adjustments Record all financial transactions, including expenses and revenues Prepare monthly reports for communication with owners Reconcile bank accounts and inter-company transactions Support audits and prepare year-end files Requirements: Business administration degree with accounting major 5 years of experience in accounting or finance Familiarity with QuickBooks essential Robust grasp of accounting principles and practices Excellent communication skills for owner interaction Drive financial integrity and owner satisfaction as part of Basecamp's accounting team.
