We’re looking for confident, outgoing, and professional Hostesses to join the opening team at The Vortex, a new nightlife destination in downtown Calgary. If you thrive in high-energy environments, love hospitality, and know how to create an unforgettable guest experience, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive Manage reservations, guest lists, and table seating Create a positive first impression and maintain a high-energy atmosphere Assist with VIP sections and bottle service coordination Communicate with security, servers, bartenders, and management throughout the night Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand Ensure guests have an exceptional experience from arrival to departure Requirements Solid communication and customer service skills Ability to stay professional in a quick-paced nightlife setting Weekend and late-night availability required Comfortable working in loud, high-volume settings Previous hosting, serving, nightlife, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required Must be confident, reliable, and team-oriented Must be legally eligible to work in Canada What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + tips Fun, energetic team environment Opportunity to grow within a recent and expanding nightlife brand Versatile scheduling Staff perks and nightlife industry experience Schedule Night shifts Weekends required Holidays as needed Location The Vortex 17th Ave SW, Downtown Calgary Pay: From $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2q1i9l
