Band Saw Machine Operator - Cambridge We are recruiting for an immediate employment prospect which has the potential to become a permanent full-time position. Our Cambridge client, one of the world's leading providers of testing, calibration and advisory services, is recruiting for a Machine Operator. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Machine Operator will set up, maintain and operate production machinery, primarily band saws. Could include operating a small shear drill press, CNC equipment, benches, vises, hammers, hacksaws, files, chisels etc., to ensure effective manufacturing processes. Key duties would include monitoring equipment, performing quality checks on finished products, troubleshooting issues, and adhering strictly to safety regulations. The successful worker will be proficient in a number of core business skills, including but not limited to, compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct and company policies and procedures.
