The role requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional mechanical engineering skills, including SolidWorks (or equivalent) design experience, and a general business aptitude to support our sales teams. Job Responsibilities - Review and understand customer technical requirements - Create conceptual designs in SolidWorks for automation solutions to support proposal development - Enhance concepts for customer presentations (e.g., rendering of solid models) - Perform engineering calculations to verify concepts (e.g., cycle times, kinematic and dynamic motion analysis, accuracy, FEA, CFD, etc.) - Present concepts quickly and efficiently for internal reviews and approvals - Develop and maintain a SolidWorks library for standard solution blocks - When required, create documentation and/or training tools to support continuous improvement activities - Work with teams and independently to complete all specific tasks with minimal supervision Education - Working toward a post‑secondary degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering - 2nd year or above co‑op student Required Skills/Experience - Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD/DraftSight - Strong written and oral communication skills - Strong MS Excel skills are an asset - Motivated, innovative, and creative individual - Must upload a transcript with previous work term ratings (if applicable) and portfolio as part of the application Legal Statement ATS is in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005 and will, upon request, assist those who may require specific accommodations due to a personal disability.
