Job Posting: We are currently seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee our production team at our Cambridge, Ontario location. Job Responsibilities - Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You also will work closely with all departments in the facility, including Shipping, Warehousing, Receiving, Maintenance, etc. Your priority is to oversee and manage all production goals and needs by developing an efficient workforce in all aspects of the production department. - You will focus on people and processes, with a consistent presence on the production floor, to ensure both are moving forward and productive. Leveraging your past supervisory experience, you will drive accountability, enforce standards, and ensure production targets are met while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures. - To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have solid supervisory experience in a high-velocity manufacturing environment transforming raw materials into finished goods. You'll need hands-on experience leading production with a proven ability to develop and implement Lean Manufacturing (or similar) process improvements. To be a good fit for this role you should have: - Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment - Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience - Experience in hands-on production environments is required - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows - Familiarity with equipment operation and material handling practices - Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is an asset - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team - Demonstrated ability to model and enforce rules, standards, and accountability - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - High level of organization and attention to detail - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, industrial environment - Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk and remain active on the production floor for extended periods We thank all applicants however will only be in contact with those selected for review.
