Environmental Property Management Lead, Cambridge

Become the Environmental Property Management Lead at the Grand River Conservation Authority. Oversee significant landholdings and drive strategic property initiatives.

In this role, reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will take charge of all management activities related to the GRCA’s extensive landholdings. The position entails supervising a committed team, guiding property acquisitions, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation. Building partnerships with municipal and provincial bodies will be crucial to facilitate successful land management practices.

Key Responsibilities:• Direct property management efforts for 50,000 acres • Oversee acquisition and disposition of properties • Manage leases and agreements with various tenants • Present program updates to the General Membership • Promote a culture of health and safety within the team

Requirements:• A minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role • Experience with property law and financial oversight • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Degree in Public Administration or related field • Ability to travel across the watershed
