COMPANY DESCRIPTION: LiftWerx is a specialized wind energy contractor which performs large corrective repairs, mainly using crane-less technology. LiftWerx offers both specialized equipment and experienced personnel to perform corrective repairs on a wide variety of wind turbines. The majority of lifting services are performed using up-tower crane technology, which avoids the high cost and disruption of utilizing large conventional cranes on the ground. We invite you to join LiftWerx, where we are focused on raising the bar. JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Coordinator LOCATION: This is an in office position, based out of our Cambridge, ON office. Standard hours of work are 40 hours from Monday – Friday. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a central role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. This position ensures invoices are processed accurately, vendors are paid on time, and financial records remain organized and audit‑ready. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, including reviewing, coding, and entering invoices into the financial system. - Verify and match invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies. - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly, including investigating pricing differences, missing invoices, and payment issues. - Prepare and execute timely vendor payments (EFT, wire, cheque), ensuring adherence to payment terms and maintaining strong vendor relationships. - Maintain and update vendor records and accounts payable documentation, ensuring completeness, audit readiness, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. - Support month-end activities, including vendor reconciliations and reporting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive efficiency. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Education/Qualifications - Post‑secondary diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset. Experience - 2–4 years of accounts payable experience in a corporate or high‑volume environment. - Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics. - Demonstrated history of working with three‑way matching, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing. Knowledge/Skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast‑paced environment. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation). - Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. - Understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls.
