SUMMER - DRAFTER/DETAILER Cambridge, ON
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the successful candidate will be involved with updating standard drawings and detailed shop drawings for civil engineering projects for soil‑metal and HDPE product lines used in drainage infrastructure as well as provide technical support to other members of the drafting team.
Requirements
Enrollment in a Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma program or equivalent. Combinations of education such as an Architecture Program and experience will be considered.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office
Strong technical skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision, as well as within a team environment.
Above average mathematical skills and strong resourceful problem‑solving skills
Experience and knowledge in soil‑metal structures such as structural plate, corrugated steel pipe, gravity retaining walls, tunnel liners and related infrastructure products will be considered an asset.
Bilingual in French is considered an asset
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, continually adapt to change and work under tight deadlines.
