AVEVA E3D and Cats&Specs Administrator, Cambridge

As an AVEVA System Administrator, you will assist with configuration, maintenance, and overall administration of AVEVA applications within Babcock&Wilcox. You will have a chance to collaborate with AVEVA Administrators as well as cross‑functional teams in the organization to meet project requirements and deliverables. This is an excellent position working in a cloud‑based environment for an enthusiastic, motivated, and strong problem‑solving candidate.

Duties AVEVA E3D Administration

Lead the set‑up, configuration and maintenance of AVEVA E3D.

Configure project templates, user roles, permissions, and project structures to support multi‑discipline engineering teams.

Ensure the system stability, performance, and smooth project execution with other AVEVA applications.

Identify opportunities and improvements within AVEVA applications.

Coordinate with team members regarding complex integrations and support.

Catalogs&Specifications Administration

Create, maintain, and update CATs&Specs databases for piping, structural, instrument, electrical, supports, and other disciplines.

Ensure catalogs and specifications align with engineering standards and project requirements.

Customize and optimize catalogs, specs, dictionaries, UDAs, property tables, and related data.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of PML, database structures is a plus.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication and cross‑functional coordination.

Electrical catalogue experience is a plus.

Computer savvy.

Understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction principles.

Knowledge of CAD tools.

Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Education Bachelor's degree or 5+ years experience. This is an intermediate level position.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Salary Range $100,000.00 - $125,000.00.
