On-site Draftsperson in Design Engineering, Cambridge

Contribute as an On-site Draftsperson specializing in design engineering. Develop and maintain CAD models, detailed drawings, and assist in project execution on-site.

This contract position will see you working closely with engineering teams, using your expertise to coordinate designs and support material requisitions effectively. Your role will also involve mentoring junior drafters and ensuring compliance with drafting standards and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:• Handle drawings and graphics department deliverables • Create complex solid and proposal models • Check and guide work of junior drafters • Support liaison with departments, vendors, and customers • Enhance drafting standards and procedures

Requirements:• Minimum 3 years' experience in drafting roles • Technical competence in engineering design • Accreditation from a technical institution • Skilled with 3D parametric software • Knowledgeable in GD&T and drafting standards
