Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 310T Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in heavy equipment operation, mechanical repair, and industrial maintenance within a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have a robust interest in automotive repair, heavy machinery, and technical systems, with a commitment to learning and safety. Responsibilities - Assist experienced technicians with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery - Learn to interpret schematics and technical manuals related to industrial and automotive systems - Operate power tools, hand tools, and industrial equipment safely and effectively under supervision - Support the assembly, disassembly, and inspection of mechanical components - Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on various machinery - Gain experience in electrical systems, HVAC components, welding techniques, and other specialized trades - Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members - Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area Experience - Dealership experience or background in automotive repair is a plus but not required - Prior exposure to heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, or forklifts is advantageous - Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, or industrial equipment enhances candidacy - Experience with welding, electrical work, HVAC systems, or farm machinery is beneficial - Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, or assembly processes is preferred - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks - Customer service skills are valued for interactions with clients or team members involved in project support This apprenticeship offers an immersive learning experience designed to develop technical skills in heavy equipment maintenance and repair while fostering professional growth within the industry.
