Join Southbridge as a part-time Registered Dietitian and enhance the nutrition of our long-term care residents in Ontario. Ensure that meals are nutritious, delicious, and lovingly prepared.
As a key member of our energetic Food and Nutrition Department, the Registered Dietitian will be responsible for nutritional assessments and individualized care planning for residents. This role emphasizes improving the quality of life for residents through effective nutrition and hydration strategies and requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities: • Consult with Food Service Manager on nutrition needs • Conduct nutritional assessments using RAI MDS 2.0 • Develop individualized diet plans for residents • Evaluate and implement nutritional care plans • Educate residents and staff on nutrition recommendations
Requirements: • Registered Dietitian eligible for the College of Dietitians of Ontario • 3-5 years’ experience in long-term care preferred • Knowledge of geriatric nutrition • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Strong communication and teamwork skills
