Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our welding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quickly welding out already fitted components using various welding techniques. This role requires a solid understanding of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical systems, with the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery to ensure high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Perform only MIG carbon welding on various metal parts and assemblies Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine weld locations and procedures Operate power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Conduct inspections of welds for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving construction or manufacturing processes Requirements Proven experience in MIG welding Must be previously CWB Certified Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly, rigging, machining, and blueprint reading Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and basic math for measurements and calculations Ability to operate machinery such as crane or forklift when necessary for material handling Knowledge of welding safety procedures and the ability to work in a manufacturing or construction environment Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting This position offers an opportunity for skilled welders to contribute their expertise within a energetic manufacturing environment.
