Description
Join the City of Cambridge as an Administrative Assistant at the Fire Department. Provide essential support to the Fire Chief and other management while engaging with the community.

This role requires a proactive approach to organizing administrative tasks for the Fire Chief, Deputy Chiefs, and other division heads. You will manage visitor logs, respond to inquiries, and handle sensitive information with discretion. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance records and processing payroll submissions to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:• Manage visitor log and greet visitors at fire headquarters • Provide assistance for inquiries related to Fire Prevention • Compile statistical reports and conduct special projects • Maintain personnel and attendance records accurately • Process departmental invoices and payroll data

Requirements:• Two-year diploma in Business or Office Administration • 1-2 years of related administrative experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proven analytical and planning abilities • Ability to handle confidential information
