Experienced Fitter-Welder at Eclipse Automation, Cambridge

Eclipse Automation seeks a skilled Fitter-Welder to enhance our fabrication team. Engage in fitting and welding with precision and expertise while contributing to innovative manufacturing solutions.

Located in Canada, Eclipse Automation delivers custom automated solutions across multiple industries. The Fitter-Welder will report to the Fabrication Plant Manager and be responsible for fabricating structural steel and custom components. A strong understanding of welding tickets and fabrication equipment is essential for project success.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist in implementing fabrication manufacturing policies and procedures • Ensure parts are prefabricated correctly within specified tolerances • Provide guidance to team members on technical tasks • Adhere to Eclipse Project Operating Policy and maintain ethical standards• Communicate professionally and participate in team meetings

Requirements:• Fitter-Welder Certificate or equivalent experience • Valid CWB certificates for GTAW, GMAW, MCAW • 5-10 years of custom fabrication experience • Excellent blueprint reading skills • Ability to work flexible hours as required
