Job Overview At Nancy's, we are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our bakers and providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities - Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. - Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash as needed. - Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. - Help organize and restock kitchen supplies to ensure efficient workflow. - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to support overall operations in the restaurant or hotel setting. Skills - Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is an asset. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. - Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members. - A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent hospitality services.
