Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects, providing opportunities to develop skills in woodworking, blueprint reading, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, reliable, and physically capable of performing demanding tasks in a fast-paced workplace. Duties Assist experienced carpenters with framing, siding, and flooring installation Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks including cutting, measuring, and assembly Support concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying as needed Perform general labor such as heavy lifting, material hauling, site cleanup, and preparation of work areas Assist with restoration projects and building maintenance tasks such as caulking and painting Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a protected working workplace for yourself and team members Qualifications Basic knowledge of construction processes or related experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards Prior handyman experience or skills in woodworking Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is a must This position provides valuable on-the-job training in carpentry and construction trade while supporting the development of practical skills necessary for career advancement within the industry.
