As a key member of the Englewood Forest Operation, you will work under the TFL Forester, taking charge of road construction planning and timber harvest activities. Your background in operational forest management and communication expertise will be vital in leading project coordination and fostering industry partnerships. Emphasize environmental stewardship in all operational aspects.
Key Responsibilities:• Provide leadership and direction for safety policies • Support sustainable forest practices and certifications • Oversee planning activities for efficient timber operations • Engage with stakeholders, including First Nations and agencies • Guide the review of cutblock development plans
Requirements:• 5-7 years of relevant operations planning experience • Degree in Forestry or similar discipline • Valid RPF or RFT accreditation • Comprehensive knowledge of BC forest legislation • Experience with forestry-related software and technologies
