ABC Recycling is seeking a General Labourer to join our unionized team. Your primary responsibilities will include sorting various types of metals and ensuring they are properly packaged for transport. You will also assist customers while upholding industry-leading safety standards in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:• Receive and assist in unloading metals from customers • Assess and weigh types and grades of non-ferrous metals • Maximize mix loads through sorting and segregating • Dismantle scrap materials to extract high-value metals • Cut larger pieces of metal into smaller, marketable sizes

Requirements:• Knowledge of general safety practices • Strong communication skills • Willingness to work outdoors, regardless of weather • Forklift or skid steer experience is an asset • Prior experience in a busy scrap yard is preferred
